He clarified that department has no mood to extend current winter vacations. According to Rana Sikandar present social media post schools and colleges will be re-opened on 12th January 2026.

Punjab School and college education departments has declared officially winter vacation period 22th December 2025 to 12th January 2025. All public and private education institutions will follow the decision of Punjab Government Rana Sikandar Hayat.
